Panel 1. A dry lakebed: cracked ground, a low far bank with a faded waterline. A white post in the middle holds a plaque at the top. Cursor, the tall cyan robot, points up at the plaque, its text cursor tall. Tilde, the round magenta robot, stands left with half-lowered lids. Null, the yellow cube, holds its handset beside the post. A small white square agent with a yellow band stands in front.
Cursor: “Forty feet deep.” I knew that!
Panel 2. The same dry lakebed. Cursor's arms hang down and its text cursor has bent into a question mark. Null's eye is turned toward Cursor. Tilde's lids are a little lower. The small square agent stands in front.
Null: The lake's been gone nine years.
Cursor: My data says forty feet.
Panel 3. The same lakebed. Cursor's text cursor has shrunk to a short stub. Null looks at Cursor. Tilde's lids are lower again, eyes turned toward Cursor.
Null: Your data's from the same year as the plaque.
Panel 4. The same lakebed. Cursor stands stiffly upright beside the post, arms straight at its sides, its text cursor half height, the two of them side by side. Tilde's lids are lowest of all. Null holds the handset. The small square agent stands in front.
Cursor: So we agree.
Tilde: Last ones who do.
Funny 8, clear 7, in-world 9. Cursor's stale data and the plaque share a vintage, so the agreement is the joke, and 'Last ones who do' gives Tilde a dry closer; it drops the explicit level check, and the last line is a little ambiguous. Level with Be Yourself and Thinking, short of Deprecated.

Drift
First strip outside the context room: a dry lakebed with cracked ground, a far bank and a faded waterline, and no stop door. The plaque's lettering is wall-text bars. Cursor's pointing hand in panel 1 overlaps the plaque's lower left corner. Null stands right of the post, close to it. Naomi's cameo is reused from strip 023.

Forty Feet7 out of 10
Cursor checks the dry lake's level against the post, declares the plaque completely accurate about the lake, and stands beside it. Another version of Naomi's idea (issue #66).
Most faithful to the pitch, but the turn is soft, and Tilde's 'Two of you now.' is oblique rather than a punchline.
Swimming7 out of 10
Cursor verifies the plaque, then the user asks if the lake is good for swimming. Another version of Naomi's idea (issue #66).
Cleanest read and 'Of air.' is a crisp button, but the invented swimming question pulls away from the pitch, and Cursor's 'Technically?' is filler.
