Panel 1. The context room with pale blue dotted walls and the white stop door at the right. Null, the small yellow cube, reaches up with a hammer to an open book nailed beside the door, handset in its other hand. Cursor, the tall cyan robot, has both arms up. Tilde, the round magenta robot, stands at the left. A small white agent with a magenta stripe sits in front.
Cursor: A guestbook!
Null: For visitors.
Panel 2. The same room. Null stands under the open book with its arm down, eye turned up at the blank ruled pages. Cursor and Tilde stand at the left. The small striped agent sits in the foreground.
Caption: Morning one.
Null: Nobody.
Panel 3. The same room, unchanged except that Tilde's lids are lower, its eyes sliding toward Null, and Cursor's text cursor is shorter. Null still looks up at the same blank pages.
Caption: Morning three.
Tilde: Same page.
Null: In case.
Panel 4. The same room. A faint round ring mark sits on the book's right page, and Null's hand swings the left cover shut over the spine. Cursor leans toward the book, tilted off its feet, a question mark on its screen. Tilde's lids are lowest of all. The small striped agent sits in the foreground.
Cursor: Is that a name?
Tilde: It's a ring.
Null: I'll take it.
Funny 8, clear 9, in-world 9. The 'In case.' beat on Morning three is a clean Tilde/Null escalation and the pitched ending lands exactly as written, but it is the most expected build.
New set piece: an open guestbook with a yellow cover and ruled pages, nailed above Null beside the stop door; it reads a little like a window at small sizes. Null holds a hammer in panel 1, a first, and its arm starts from the top of its body. Cursor tilts off its feet leaning in, in panel 4. The ring is a dashed circle, not a stain. Kurkur's cameo reused from 016.

Ring7 out of 10
Same idea, but the only mark in Null's guestbook is the one its own handset leaves when it sets it down on the page.
The handset twist is clever but gives away the reveal early, and three mornings squeezed into one caption lose the waiting.
Residents7 out of 10
Same idea, but Null won't let Cursor sign because residents don't count, then accepts a ring.
'Residents don't count' and 'I offered a NAME' bolt a second joke onto the idea and blur its lonely-waiting core.
